It’s not obviously everyone’s most favourite place the dentist. However, from leaving the military after 23 years I found myself unable to find what should be an easy task in finding a new dentist. FP Dental in Rothwell offered me a monthly private option which roughly equates to overall yearly NHS costs with added benefits. I found this practice to be excellent throughout. Nothing is too much trouble. I’m a stickler after years in the RAF for professional no nonsense service. If you’re in the hunt for a dentist like this then look no further than this place.

I have used this practice for over twenty years now and the best thing to happen was being taken over by fp dentist. The practice is now totally different it gives you a private dentist experience on the National health. It starts the moment you enter the reception to be greeted by very friendly staff in a modern clean environment. Had an emergency consultation yesterday 21.11.2024.Going in thinking I needed to have a filing to finding out I had an abscess under my back bottom tooth and it had to come out.Not the news I was expecting,so had a mini meltdown.Muddassir Hassan calmed me down and reassured me it would be ok.He managed to get the tooth out in one piece with very little discomfort,even though it had the longest root he had ever seen. He would be a very good addition to the team and I hope he stays.Thank you 😊

My previous dentist made me absolutley dread going so when I moved to FP I really wasn’t in the best mindset on my visits, I mainly see Andreia and sometimes Bruno but both of them have really settled me and as much as I still have the anxiety each time I go I don’t dread it. Their friendly, calm and understanding manners really so settle me & it really helps that they explain everything that’s happening. The girls on reception & within the rooms are great too. We have moved just over half an hour away from the surgery but the travel really is worth the service.
As a retired Customer Services Manager, I know I am hyper critical about the level of service I receive, but I must admit I could not find any fault in the way I was treated at FP Dental.Reception and dental staff were professional yet friendly, and I was even treated to a 'sing a long' in my ear while being drilled for a filling - at no extra charge !

Yesterday i went with my son there and didn't have to wait too long the dentist was very professional the nurse was very helpful and both very kind and gentle. Dentist knew how to deal with kids. She knows her onion even my son said to me dentist was very polite. I was fully satisfied.

The make me feel so comfortable and tailor to my needs.Andrea on reception is always super helpful & friendly!The prices on all treatments are great, they only increase when the government ups the prices, but they themselves do not inflate on that charge.I am a NHS patient, I have recommended both my partner (pay as you go patient) & and my cousin (private health care patient). My little boy who is 6 needed a filling today, Jenna was absolutely amazing with him, it was explained in such a positive age appropriate way to him that he felt at ease and relaxed, would definitely recommend Jenna and her dental nurse who were so patient and caring throughout the treatment.

First time here, I took my elderly father in law. All the staff were so lovely, friendly and welcoming. The practice was spotless. My father in law was very nervous as he hasn't been to a dentist for a long time. They couldn't have put him more at ease. The dentist we saw introduced himself as Bruno, and was so lovely, he explained everything, and asked if we had any questions, and didn't rush anything. Absolutely the best dentist in Barnsley and I have experienced a few. I have had a lot of dental problems over the years and suffer from anxiety. The team at FP are like my second family they are always show upmost professionalism but are also so down to earth and so caring they are always willing to help no matter how big or small your issue. Several years on, I am still completely happy with the level of service I receive from the whole team in a professional and friendly manner. I've been a patient at FP Dental since I was young and now my own daughter and husband come here too. Aside of being highly knowledgeable, all the staff are lovely and friendly - so much so, that my 5yro daughter looks forward to going and has never had a fear of Dentists! They offer amazing varied services including cosmetic/aesthetic work at which theye highly skilled. I've never struggled to get an appointment and their patient care is outstanding.The clinic itself is always very clean and welcoming and they're also close to a free car park. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

When I arrived, I was told that my usual dentist now doesn't work on Mondays and was asked if I wanted to make another appointment. To minimise the inconvenience, I agreed to see a different dentist. She was very pleasant and communicative as she looked at my teeth. She said that she likes to have X-rays every two years and, since it was 4 years since my last one, she took x-rays of both sides of my mouth. These would have shown up any hidden problems, although there were none. She seemed to be very thorough and I was only charged the usual check up fee. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the lack of communication about my usual dentist.

Very well cared for prior to having the crown fitted. Just had to wait a short time to complete the fitting. Asked if I had any questions which I didn't. Bruno the dentist said I would be able to eat lunch about 1pm . Since then I have had a problem with the work. Back in 6 month's.

Over the years, more than I care to think about, I have always been grateful to have had a local dentist. Since Catherine Davey joined the practice I have come to realise how lucky i, and other patients,have been to have been looked after so well. And when I have had dealings with other members of the team, from the receptionists to the ladies who remove foreign bodies from my mouth during a procedure, i have always been impressed.On the negative side I fear that you can't make my teeth last forever, and that you need a stair carpet to muffle the noise from the stairs.

As someone who suffers from nerves and anxiety i can honestly say that I can't remember the last time I was made to feel so comfortable by strangers. I saw the hygienist. Completely kind and professional. I require further treatment and I go into that feeling positively. I would recommend that if you need a dentist practice to use this one.
Few people look forward to visiting their dentist unless they are in pain. The practice has a new addition to their staff, however, and Jamil Salim is as gentle and pleasant as a dentist could possibly be. Everything I experienced during my appointment today was professional and efficient. I can certainly recommend this practice to others.

After 30 years of Mr Gatecliff looking after our family dental requirements at the Limes dental surgery I have now been moved to a new female dentist operating at the practice on his retirement. She was very informative about questions I raised and did a yearly check on the condition of my teeth checking for any other issues in the mouth and throat area that may show signs of potential cancer.I was happy with the service and will continue to attend as a NHS patient.I would like to thank Mr Gatecliff for his work and saving many a tooth from extraction over the years and wish him and his family a happy retirement.

We visited Limes Dental practice for our annual check up. The whole process went so well. Right from checking in with the receptionist, to the check up itself, was handled so professionally. We were well looked after. We met our new dentist and dental nurse, who put us both at ease straight away. The dentist explained everything he was doing first and ensured that we were happy and comfortable. I have a few mobility issues, which caused me a bit of concern, but I needn't have worried. Everyone was so helpful, understanding, and made sure I was OK. Nothing was too much to ask.I would definitely recommend Limes Dental practice, and I will not hesitate to go back, should I need to do so before my next check up.

I have used this practice for over twenty years now and the best thing to happen was being taken over by fp dentist. The practice is now totally different it gives you a private dentist experience on the National health. It starts the moment you enter the reception to be greeted by very friendly staff in a modern clean environment. Our dentist (Bruno) makes you feel relaxed due to his relaxed manner and his professional attitude. I would recommend this practice to anyone. Thank you to all at fp dental.

Had an emergency consultation yesterday 21.11.2024.Going in thinking I needed to have a filing to finding out I had an abscess under my back bottom tooth and it had to come out.Not the news I was expecting,so had a mini meltdown.Muddassir Hassan calmed me down and reassured me it would be ok.He managed to get the tooth out in one piece with very little discomfort,even though it had the longest root he had ever seen. He would be a very good addition to the team and I hope he stays.Thank you 😊

As a 55-year-old, I truly appreciate their proactive approach, as I’m keen to keep my own teeth for as long as possible. My previous dentist made me absolutley dread going so when I moved to FP I really wasn’t in the best mindset on my visits, I mainly see Andreia and sometimes Bruno but both of them have really settled me and as much as I still have the anxiety each time I go I don’t dread it. Their friendly, calm and understanding manners really so settle me & it really helps that they explain everything that’s happening. The girls on reception & within the rooms are great too. We have moved just over half an hour away from the surgery but the travel really is worth the service.
As a retired Customer Services Manager, I know I am hyper critical about the level of service I receive, but I must admit I could not find any fault in the way I was treated at FP Dental.Reception and dental staff were professional yet friendly, and I was even treated to a 'sing a long' in my ear while being drilled for a filling - at no extra charge !

Yesterday i went with my son there and didn't have to wait too long the dentist was very professional the nurse was very helpful and both very kind and gentle. Dentist knew how to deal with kids. She knows her onion even my son said to me dentist was very polite. I was fully satisfied.

Took both my children there last week the dentist was amazing with them both. Both of them need alot of work and one is frightened of needles and the dentist put her straight at ease.My children's last dentist before here scared them of dentists but now we have a good one I am so happy.

Had a dental emergency today which resulted in a fair bit of treatment. It was all completed with the minimum of fuss with a follow up appointment.I can now relax while on holiday.The service from initial enquiry to walking out of the surgery has been excellent as usual.

It’s always a pleasure to visit Bruno and his Dental Assistant at FP Dental Surgery in Wombwell. He takes the time to talk to my kids as individually people and not just to us as parents. He always goes the extra mile to explain to what he is doing and why, which puts us all at ease.

The team at FP dental are amazing.. so hard to find a reliable trustworthy dentist but having had many dental issues over the last few years there is nobody else I would place my trust in.Andreai is amazing and I cannot praise the team enough. Andreia & Bruno are amazing dentists (along with the rest of the team). I have had zero complaints & my teeth have never been better! Any issues I have I can get booked in & they explain thoroughly what they are doing.Jenna & Ellis are amazing with me for airflow (as I have jaw issues) & botox. The make me feel so comfortable and tailor to my needs.Andrea on reception is always super helpful & friendly!The prices on all treatments are great, they only increase when the government ups the prices, but they themselves do not inflate on that charge.I am a NHS patient, I have recommended both my partner (pay as you go patient) & and my cousin (private health care patient). Both have been thrilled with the service & said they should have joined much sooner.As you can tell, I highly recommend.

Have been with this practice all my life and I'm almost 36. I grew up with 'McBride & Walker' and in more recent years have seen the transformation by FP Dental. Always a great friendly service. I often see Jenna, Ellis and Jamil and all of them are always so lovely. A special thank you to Jenna who got my dental hygiene back on track after a few missed appointment during COVID.
My little boy who is 6 needed a filling today, Jenna was absolutely amazing with him, it was explained in such a positive age appropriate way to him that he felt at ease and relaxed, would definitely recommend Jenna and her dental nurse who were so patient and caring throughout the treatment.
Had a wonderful experience with my 2 children having fillings last week with the lovely Jenna, who took her time to explain to them everything that she was going to do, both me and my husband was so impressed! We have been taking our children here since they were little and both of them are now happy to go every time. The whole team are brilliant at what they do and we are so happy with the treatment we receive every time. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.

First time here, I took my elderly father in law. All the staff were so lovely, friendly and welcoming. The practice was spotless. My father in law was very nervous as he hasn't been to a dentist for a long time. They couldn't have put him more at ease. The dentist we saw introduced himself as Bruno, and was so lovely, he explained everything, and asked if we had any questions, and didn't rush anything. Absolutely the best dentist in Barnsley and I have experienced a few. I have had a lot of dental problems over the years and suffer from anxiety. The team at FP are like my second family they are always show upmost professionalism but are also so down to earth and so caring they are always willing to help no matter how big or small your issue. I will be forever grateful.
My initial reservations when FP Dental took over from my original dentist were quickly allayed. Several years on, I am still completely happy with the level of service I receive from the whole team in a professional and friendly manner. In addition to Jim, I have received treatment from other dentists in the practice and remain highly satisfied.

I've been a patient at FP Dental since I was young and now my own daughter and husband come here too. Aside of being highly knowledgeable, all the staff are lovely and friendly - so much so, that my 5yro daughter looks forward to going and has never had a fear of Dentists! They offer amazing varied services including cosmetic/aesthetic work at which theye highly skilled. I've never struggled to get an appointment and their patient care is outstanding.The clinic itself is always very clean and welcoming and they're also close to a free car park. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I went for my 6 monthly check up today. As usual Andreia was very pleasant and told me everything she was going to do re my teeth. It is a pleasure to have her look after me
When I arrived, I was told that my usual dentist now doesn't work on Mondays and was asked if I wanted to make another appointment. To minimise the inconvenience, I agreed to see a different dentist. She was very pleasant and communicative as she looked at my teeth. She said that she likes to have X-rays every two years and, since it was 4 years since my last one, she took x-rays of both sides of my mouth. These would have shown up any hidden problems, although there were none. She seemed to be very thorough and I was only charged the usual check up fee. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the lack of communication about my usual dentist.

Very friendly staff and efficient. The dentist relaxs you by playing music and talking about what he wants you to do next. Etc. 2nd appointmentFor a crown last Friday. Very well cared for prior to having the crown fitted. Just had to wait a short time to complete the fitting. Asked if I had any questions which I didn't. Bruno the dentist said I would be able to eat lunch about 1pm . Since then I have had a problem with the work. Back in 6 month's.

Over the years, more than I care to think about, I have always been grateful to have had a local dentist. Since Catherine Davey joined the practice I have come to realise how lucky i, and other patients,have been to have been looked after so well. And when I have had dealings with other members of the team, from the receptionists to the ladies who remove foreign bodies from my mouth during a procedure, i have always been impressed.On the negative side I fear that you can't make my teeth last forever, and that you need a stair carpet to muffle the noise from the stairs.

As someone who suffers from nerves and anxiety i can honestly say that I can't remember the last time I was made to feel so comfortable by strangers. I saw the hygienist. Completely kind and professional. I require further treatment and I go into that feeling positively. I would recommend that if you need a dentist practice to use this one.
Few people look forward to visiting their dentist unless they are in pain. The practice has a new addition to their staff, however, and Jamil Salim is as gentle and pleasant as a dentist could possibly be. Everything I experienced during my appointment today was professional and efficient. I can certainly recommend this practice to others.

I have always had excellent, gentle, professional and sympathetic treatment from both Mrs. Wolverson and her nurses. Unavoidable circumstances meant I missed my appointment today. I called in to apologise and rearrange and the lovely receptionist was able to fit me in there and then. After 30 years of Mr Gatecliff looking after our family dental requirements at the Limes dental surgery I have now been moved to a new female dentist operating at the practice on his retirement. She was very informative about questions I raised and did a yearly check on the condition of my teeth checking for any other issues in the mouth and throat area that may show signs of potential cancer.I was happy with the service and will continue to attend as a NHS patient.I would like to thank Mr Gatecliff for his work and saving many a tooth from extraction over the years and wish him and his family a happy retirement.

We visited Limes Dental practice for our annual check up. The whole process went so well. Right from checking in with the receptionist, to the check up itself, was handled so professionally. We were well looked after. We met our new dentist and dental nurse, who put us both at ease straight away. The dentist explained everything he was doing first and ensured that we were happy and comfortable. I have a few mobility issues, which caused me a bit of concern, but I needn't have worried. Everyone was so helpful, understanding, and made sure I was OK. Nothing was too much to ask.I would definitely recommend Limes Dental practice, and I will not hesitate to go back, should I need to do so before my next check up.
